Framdagen is an annual conference aimed at members of the Fram Center, users of the research, partners and the media.
This year's theme was Unnatural Choices, where questions were raised about whether we take sufficient care of nature, whether what we do is beneficial, and what we can do better for it.
We used a tree as a symbol of Nature, and added different elements in and around it to illustrate the professional contributions from UiT The Arctic University of Norway, Norwegian Institute for Nature Research, NILU, Norwegian Polar Institute, Akvaplan-niva, University of Oslo, Tromsø Municipality, Karlsøy Municipality, the Norwegian Mapping Authority, NIBIO, NOFIMA, NIVA, Norwegian Computing Centre, Norwegian Environment Agency and Marine Spark X.
Illustrations and animations were partly generated using AI tools (Midjourney) and further refined through design and animation.
